Version: 1.2 — 4 September 2026
Effective: These Terms take effect on the date of their publication and remain in force until superseded by the next revision published on this page.
Pixavince Photography Group (PPG)
This page sets out the terms governing your PPG membership and your use of this platform. Three further documents govern specific areas:
| Document | Covers |
|---|---|
| These Terms | Membership, your account, the platform, points, payments, conduct |
| Terms & Conditions — Workshops | All paid Workshops, including refunds, cancellation and on-site safety |
| Terms & Conditions — Online Activities | Contests, Challenges and Group Activities |
| Terms & Conditions — Shop | Purchases of merchandise and physical goods from the PPG Shop |
All four documents apply to you. By registering a PPG account you accept all four. You will be asked to confirm again at the point of enrolling in a Workshop, entering an Activity or placing an order in the Shop; that confirmation is specific to the matter concerned and does not replace the acceptance you gave at registration.
Where a provision of the Workshop Terms, the Online Activities Terms or the Shop Terms conflicts with this page, that document prevails for the matter it governs.
Pixavince Photography Group ("PPG") is operated by Pixavince Creations, Row House-6, Bhargav Wihar, S.No. 53/1, Near Dnyandeep School, Off Bangalore Bypass, Kudale Baug, Sinhagad Road, Pune, Maharashtra 411041, India. Contact: contact@pixavince.com.
PPG is a distinct undertaking from Pixavince Photography School (pixavince.com). Membership of PPG confers no right or benefit in respect of any offering of the School, and vice versa, unless expressly stated.
2.1 Membership is personal and non-transferable. Membership benefits, points and tier status may not be sold, gifted, shared or transferred to another person under any circumstances.
2.2 You may hold one account only. You are responsible for everything done under your account and for keeping your login credentials confidential. Sharing credentials is a material breach.
2.3 Registration is subject to approval. PPG may decline any application, and is not obliged to give reasons.
2.4 You must keep your profile accurate and current — name, contact number, email, address, emergency contact and any information relevant to your participation. PPG relies on this information and accepts no liability arising from information that is false, incomplete, withheld or outdated.
2.5 Your email address is your account identifier and cannot be changed by you. Contact us if it needs to be corrected.
2.6 PPG may suspend or terminate a membership for breach of these terms, for conduct falling below the standard in Section 5, or where required by law. Suspension or termination for breach carries no refund of any membership fee or activity fee, and forfeits accrued points.
2.7 You may ask for your account to be deleted. Deletion is subject to our legal and accounting retention obligations, and certain records — including financial records and the results of concluded activities — are retained.
2.8 Minimum age. PPG membership is open only to people aged 18 or over. You must be 18 or over to register, and by registering you confirm that you are. PPG asks for your age and relies on your answer; it does not verify it.
2.9 Reporting, and what PPG does about it. If you believe a PPG member is under 18, tell us using the contact form — there is a box to tick for this, and you do not need a PPG account to use it. When PPG has reason to believe an account is held by someone under 18, a member of the PPG team reviews the report and, where it is acted on, PPG suspends the account, removes that member's profile and photographs from public view, and writes to the registered email address. Nothing is deleted at that point, and the account can be restored if the report turns out to be mistaken. Reports are not acted on automatically: a person at PPG decides, and PPG keeps a record of what was decided and when.
3.1 All fees are stated in Indian Rupees and are subject to GST and any other statutory levy at prevailing rates.
3.2 Payments are processed by our payment gateway. PPG does not store your card, UPI or banking credentials.
3.3 Payment gateway, bank and convenience charges are borne by you and are not refundable in any circumstance, including where a refund is otherwise payable.
3.4 Memberships are prepaid and are not refundable once activated.
3.5 Refunds for Workshops are governed entirely by the Workshop Terms & Conditions and by the refund policy stated on the individual Workshop's page. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
3.6 Contests, Challenges and Group Activities are free of charge. No fee is payable and no refund arises.
3.7 Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first raising the matter with us is a material breach. We may recover the disputed amount and all associated costs, and may bar you from future participation.
3.8 Purchases of merchandise and physical goods from the PPG Shop are governed entirely by the Shop Terms & Conditions. Shop purchases are not refundable, save where PPG is unable to fulfil the order.
4.1 Points are a loyalty benefit, not currency. They have no cash value, cannot be encashed, transferred or gifted, and are governed by the Rewards & Points terms published on the platform.
4.2 Points expire in accordance with those terms. PPG may adjust, reverse or forfeit points awarded in error, or where the underlying transaction or activity is cancelled, refunded or disqualified.
4.3 No claim of any kind lies in respect of points — their award, non-award, value, reversal, forfeiture or expiry.
4.4 Points redeemed against a purchase reduce the cash payable up to the limit displayed at checkout. No purchase can be funded entirely by points.
5.1 Treat other members, instructors, staff, models, subjects and members of the public with respect.
5.2 The following will result in removal from an activity, and may result in suspension or termination of membership without refund: harassment, sexual harassment, intimidation or bullying; discrimination on grounds of gender, caste, religion, region, language, disability, age, sexual orientation or nationality; abusive, threatening or defamatory conduct; fraud or misrepresentation; photographing any person without consent; and any conduct that brings PPG into disrepute.
5.3 This applies on the platform, in any PPG communication channel, at any in-person activity, and on external forums and social media where the conduct concerns PPG or its members.
5.4 You shall not collect, store, publish or misuse the personal data or contact details of any other member obtained through PPG.
6.1 PPG does not warrant that the platform will be available at any particular time, or that it will be free of error, interruption or data loss.
6.2 PPG may change, suspend or withdraw any feature of the platform at any time without notice.
6.3 You shall not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, interfere with its operation, scrape its content, or use any automated means to interact with it.
6.4 Content published by PPG on this platform — text, design, curricula, briefs and materials — belongs to Pixavince Creations and may not be copied, reproduced or repurposed without written permission.
6.5 There is no backup, and you must keep your own copies. PPG does not maintain a backup of anything you store on this platform. That includes your photographs, your galleries and captions, your profile, and your account and activity history. Anything lost through a failure of the platform or of a service it depends on, a fault or error in an automated process, or an accidental deletion — by you or by PPG — cannot be recovered by PPG. There is no second copy and there is no restore.
6.6 Your photographs in particular. Photographs are the one thing on this platform that cannot be reconstructed from any other record. What PPG stores are re-encoded copies at reduced sizes, not your original files. You must keep your own originals. Clause 8 applies: PPG accepts no liability for the loss, corruption or deletion of any photograph or other material you upload.
7.1 You retain full ownership and copyright of your own work.
7.2 Which terms apply depends on where the photograph goes.
7.3 Your photographs stay yours. Copyright in every photograph you upload to your member profile or to a member gallery remains with you. Nothing in these Terms transfers or assigns it. The licence below is non-exclusive: you remain entirely free to publish, license, sell, exhibit or enter the same photograph anywhere else, without reference to PPG.
7.4 The licence you grant. By uploading a photograph to your member profile or to a member gallery, you grant PPG a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to store that photograph, to make reduced-size and re-encoded copies of it for display, and to display it for the purposes set out in Clause 7.5 and in the form described in Clause 7.6. The licence is granted without fee or royalty. PPG may not sub-license it to any third party, save to the storage, image-delivery and hosting providers through which the platform serves images on PPG's behalf.
7.5 Where PPG may display it. The licence in Clause 7.4 extends to the following surfaces and to no others:
Use outside this list needs your separate consent. In particular, this licence does not permit PPG to publish your photograph on PPG's social media accounts, in printed material, or in an exhibition. Those are separate from the licence you grant here and PPG will ask you for them.
7.6 The preview image, and what it combines. PPG generates one composite preview image for each member profile, made from one of your photographs, your profile name and the PPG mark. That composite is the image that appears when a link to your profile is pasted into a messaging application or posted on a social network. In granting the licence in Clause 7.4 you are agreeing that your photograph may be combined with PPG's name and mark in a single image, and that the combined image may be published. The composite is regenerated when the photograph or your profile name changes, and it is deleted when you delete the photograph, make your profile page non-public, or delete your account. Deletion of the composite is carried out by a daily process, so it may take up to a day, and Clause 7.10 applies to it as it applies to any other image.
7.7 What PPG will not do. PPG will not sell your photograph, license it to a third party for that third party's own commercial use, use it as advertising for any third party's goods or services, or use it to train any artificial intelligence or machine learning system, without your separate written consent. Display of the photograph on the surfaces listed in Clause 7.5, which promote PPG itself, is not third-party commercial use.
7.8 Credit. Every surface listed in Clause 7.5 displays your profile name beside the photograph.
7.9 Search engines. PPG asks search engines not to index member profile pages or member gallery pages. That is a request, honoured by the major search engines but not something PPG can enforce, and it does not apply to any other surface: the PPG homepage is a public page and is indexed normally. Contest galleries are a separate matter and are governed by Clause 13.1 of the Online Activities Terms, which states that they may be indexed.
7.10 Ending the licence, and the two things PPG cannot undo. You may remove a photograph, or make your profile page non-public, at any time from your member area. PPG then stops displaying it, and the licence in Clause 7.4 ends in respect of it. Two consequences follow that PPG cannot reverse, and you should know them before you upload:
8.1 PPG's liability in respect of a paid Workshop is limited as set out in the Workshop Terms & Conditions, and in no circumstance exceeds the fee actually received for that Workshop.
8.2 PPG's liability in respect of Contests, Challenges, Group Activities and any other activity provided free of charge is Nil, as set out in the Online Activities Terms & Conditions.
8.3 Participation in any PPG activity, and any travel, outing or shoot undertaken in connection with one, is at your own risk.
8.4 Nothing here excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the laws of India. Where any exclusion or limitation is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. The Data Protection and Grievance Officer is Vaishali Prabhune, contact@pixavince.com.
Raise any concern with us at contact@pixavince.com. We will acknowledge within 7 working days and respond within 30 working days. Certain matters — including moderation, judging, results and disqualification decisions in Activities — are final and not open to review; the Online Activities Terms identify them.
PPG's decision is final and binding on all matters concerning the interpretation and application of these terms.
PPG may amend these terms at any time. The version published here on the date of your registration, enrolment or participation governs that registration, enrolment or participation, save for amendments required by law, which apply immediately. Continued use of the platform after an amendment constitutes acceptance of it.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute not resolved under Section 10 within 30 days of written notice shall be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed by Pixavince Creations under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated at Pune, Maharashtra, in English. Subject to that, the courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction. Claims must be brought individually; no class or representative proceeding is permitted.
